As Performance Experts
We start by providing health checks for our client’s established IT middleware infrastructure. Our health checks are based on widely accepted performance best practices, vendor recommendations and industry-specific experience gathered by FARA engineers during the course of large-scale projects. Client’s middleware infrastructure and deployed applications are analyzed and compared with a checklist of best practices. In many cases, specialized tools are used to facilitate measurement of key metrics for comparison with benchmark values. Results of the Health check engagements typically include recommendations to improve the performance, efficiency, stability, reliability and security of applications and the middleware infrastructure in which they are deployed.
Performance tuning engagements are executed either as a stand-alone engagement to address a particular problem raised by one of our clients, or as a follow-up engagement to address issues uncovered during a health check. In a performance tuning engagement, detailed metrics are established which reflect the issues to be addressed. Changes are made to middleware infrastructure, databases, and applications as required to bring the metrics in line with client business requirements.
